Absolutely love this place. Not only can you come to explore and express your artistic creativity, they also offer lessons and host parties. They have packages for birthday parties that includes painting or pottery. A small deposit reserves your time slot. No limits on bringing outside food. Absolutely wonderful staff that is very helpful and attentive to students and guests. Definitely a fun place for a weekend art outing or to take classes or as we did- host a birthday celebration.
The best art school around! My eldest was recommended by a friend and fell in love with the studio right away, and she encouraged me and my youngest to join as well. Ms. Mary and the rest of her staff are so incredibly talented, kind, hardworking and encouraging! They give the perfect advice when needed and are top class instructors. My eldest was only able to elevate her skills in art because of Ms. Mary’s studio. Because of Ms. Mary’s studio, she has become a national and state champion in art. Because of Ms. Mary’s studio, me and my daughters get to have quality art time together. Because of Ms. Mary’s studio, we are able to create things that make us happy :) 1000000% would highly recommend this studio to anyone and EVERYONE!!
When we first saw the studio from the street, we assumed it was just for painting ceramics. However, when we went inside, we saw adults and children creating incredible drawings and paintings. Young kids showed us drawings that were so beautiful and detailed that they shocked us. The oil paintings that were being completed by children and adults were spectacular, too. We immediately decided to sign up for drawing and painting classes. We have learned so much from Ms. Mary, Ms. Sera, and Ms. Farnaz. They are kind and patient and wonderful. We highly recommend the studio to any aspiring artists. Regardless of your skill level or age, this is an excellent studio.
We recently hosted my granddaughters 7th birthday party at Mary’s Art I Center in Richmond, Tx - it was conveniently located off major roads. We had over twelve children, who selected a ceramic statue to paint , using acrylic colors & brushes (2). All this provided for each child & me! For and hour & half they worked on the statues they selected. They chatted, shared stories about school, friends, family and life of being seven. Mary personally made sure the kids were having fun, and when we finished she personally wrapped each finished piece of art they created on this day. We had pizza, birthday cake & great memories to take home. Mary’s Arts provides an inexpensive two hour opportunity for a great moment & keep sake a child can take & discuss for a lifetime. Painting was one of my favorite wish list for a long time until I met miss Mary . Her professional teaching and her patient with students is wonderful and also I really appreciate her amazing and very talented staff who encouraged me to start painting and I would say that one of my dreams come true. I truly enjoying going there with so much excitement each time. Seeing students in different age and different talents is absolutely about beauty of art. I strongly recommend to everyone. ❤️
I take my kids for art class during the week, and we go on the weekend for ceramic painting. That's how much we love this place. While my kids attending the art class , I sit and admire the art! It's a beautiful art gallery and Miss Mary is a professional talented artist. I highly recommend it.
I joined Mary Art Center almost a year ago and my experience has been remarkable. I have improved greatly in both painting and drawing. Before joining, I never would have imagined my art skills advancing as much as they have. The teachers are great and the environment is very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend Mary Art Center to anyone interested in painting and drawing, no matter how much experience they have in art. 10/10 for me.
I went with my son today to get a ceramic pottery and paint. There were many options to choose from.. they have variety of style,size and character to choose. Once we picked our ceramic the Artist showed us how to paint. The atmosphere was great and so relaxing . I had amazing one on one time with my son and before going out he asked when we can go back again. Definitely recommending it.
This is an adorable place to go. The atmosphere is soothing and pleasing. Ms. Mary is an amazing artist and such a good teacher. Great place for adults and children who want serious art lessons. Ceramics are fun for the family.
